Adding letters won't fix the problem of each letter in fact NOT corresponding to spesific sounds 😂 English speaking countries really really should consider updating the spelling rules for the first time in like 500(?)years. Learning how each word is spelled takes so much time for ubsolutely no good reason. Kids or the learners of the language could use their time better. Finnish and Swedish use ä/Ä for the æ "cat" sound (although in swedish it's sometimes pronounced as an "e".)
